Hanging with the Author

I'll never forget the day when I was on my job in Far Rockaway. I had drove with my patient Audrey to her dialysis appointment. One particular day I decided to get on the bus and take a drive down to an area in Far Rockaway where I had seen an apartment complex. I would drive pass the building every time we went to Audrey's dialysis appointment and later I would see the same apartment building when my husband Bill and I would drive into Brooklyn. Bill and I had been living in my parent's home and I was diligently looking for a place for us to live.

When I saw the apartment I could only think of my creativity and how much that I can do with my song writing and book writing in this apartment. It was a strange feeling, yet real. Now fast forward to today, Bill and I live in Chester Virginia in our own town home where my creativity is in full bloom and we both get to do what God has called us to do. God has a way of remembering all of our dreams even though times we may forget.

Follow your heart it will lead you to do the right thing.
