Hanging with the Author

I wanted to share with you the joy of being able to express my thoughts and put them down on paper. My first book was my autobiography "There Was A Little Girl In The Corner." It took me years to complete my first book. I'm happy of the many reviews that I have received from those that read my story. I'm now writing my second book of short stories that range from all walks of life. When you read my second book you will be able to relate to at least 1 or 2 of the stories that I'm writing about. My story deals with issues that everyday people go through.

When I was a young girl my mother would buy me books and I would read them all. I later became fascinated with authors, like Karen Kingsbury, James Patterson, Nora Roberts and Zeigler, Ted Dekker and the great writer Maya Angelou as I engaged in reading their stories. Through reading I learned that I too had something to share with the world. So I began my journey in writing in my early 20's and just published my first book in 2021. It didn't matter how long it took me to produce, I finally got it done and that's what mattered.

I also thank God for my husband who so patiently edited my first book and will be editing my second when I complete it next year 2024.

Never give up on your dreams. Keep forging ahead and eventually you will arrive at your destination.
