The Author's Corner

Good evening everyone, I pray that you and your families are doing well. Today on this Sunday we all have the opportunity to reflect on the past week and also to look forward to this following week. Some people weren't fortunate enough to have a chance to see this day, but we did. I just want to give God all the Praise & Glory for what He is doing in me and my husbands lives. This coming week I would like to focus on the Goodness of God and all that He has been to me throughout my walk with Him. I never perceived in my mind that I would be retiring at the end of this year, I thought I had to work until I had a certain amount of retirement money on my job. The Lord spoke to me a few months ago on a Sunday morning while I was listening to my praise & worship music and told me that it was time for me to leave my job. Now mind you, I'm walking totally on my faith in Christ and not relying on my own will because without Him (Christ) I can do nothing. God has given me ethe gift of creative writing and also songwriting, so that's what I will be doing. My 2nd book will be completed hopefully before the end of this Summer and by next year I'm going to concentrate on recording some of the songs that I've written throughout the years. The book of Hebrews chapter 11 & verse 1 reads: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. One of the songs that I wrote many years ago "I believe God," speaks of my faith in Him. So you all pray for me as I endeavor to step out by faith and trust God for all of our needs.
